About The British Comedy Guide

Welcome to the brand new British Comedy Guide. When this site launches in the summer, it will provide un-rivaled information on thousands of British comedy TV and radio programmes (plus films). To get a feel for the depth of coverage you can expect, see our new My Family guide.

This website will be replacing The British Sitcom Guide. Its basically still going to be the BSG everyone knows and loves - just have a new name, be much bigger (as we will be covering all other forms of comedy now too), and will provide lots of additional cool features (like DVD wishlists and programme reviewing).

But, we hear you ask, "if this website hasn't launched yet, how comes I've been looking at a bit of it?" Well, we have launched a few of our pages early. This is so that we can start making use of our new guide functionality today (thus saving us wasting time updating the old website) and, by staging the re-launch, we can check everything works in a manageable way.

Unfortunately this step-by-step rollout does mean that for the next couple of months it's going to be a bit of a building site around here. As you navigate around you may find yourself jumping backwards and forwards between this new site and sitcom.co.uk - please do bear with us... we're trying to make the transition as smooth as possible.
