The distinctive humour of Alan Carr features in this new six-part comedy series.

With a new fictional escapade every week, Alan narrates some bizarre adventures which are interspersed with classic clips from the archives.

Themes include a stressed hen night; his Nan's complex love life; adopting a baby with disastrous consequences; and the murky world of espionage.

Our Review: A bit of a cheap excuse to air some well-worn archive material - in fact most of the archive clips don't even have any connection with the supposed topic of the week... how lazy is that!

However, that said, Alan's tall stories did amuse us and the archive clips are, naturally, very funny indeed, even despite the fact most of the stand-up routines featured have been heard numerous times before.
