Hamish and Dougal: You'll Have Had Your Tea is a spin-off series to the long-running [z]BBC Radio 4] panel game I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue.

The series features Barry Cryer and Graeme Garden as two elderly Scotsman, characters whom they originally created in the 'Sound Charades' round of ISIHAC. It was in 2002 that they wrote this sitcom for the characters of Hamish and Dougal.

The episodes normally featured Hamish and Dougal on some form of bizarre escapade, alongside their housekeeper Mrs. Naughtie (Alison Steadman) and the local Laird (Jeremy Hardy). There were also been guest appearances from fellow ISIHAC regulars Humphrey Lyttelton, Tim Brooke-Taylor and Colin Sell.

Each 15 minute episodes was carefully written, with the aim being to make sure there was a joke in just about every line. Many of the jokes used puns and sexual innuendo. As the comedy was being broadcast on radio, the creators also made use of comic sound affects. Although risqué, the show has a gentle side to it as well. As a result, You'll Have Had Your Tea is reminiscent of classic comedies like The Goon Show and the Carry On films.

To date, three series and two specials have been broadcast.
