Asif Khan
 Asif is 18 and plans to become a holiday rep.
He has told his parents that he is a hot-shot lawyer at a top firm and he is finding it difficult to live the lie much longer.
He is bored by his job, like the others, and is desperate to escape Fox and Co... particularly now his dad has started bringing clients in to see him!
Darrel Wadsworth
 Slimy Darrel is 20 and ambitious. He is different from the others in the post room... he wants to progress himself at Fox Carter and Co.
Sadly Darrel is continually let down by his utter lack of ability and his complete absence of any people skills. He is always trying to ingratiate himself with management. He thinks he is funny but isn't.
Darrel dresses like a solicitor, or rather like he thinks a solicitor would dress. This involves bad suits and cheap ties.
Darrel fancies Shelley and cannot understand why she does not return his affections. Darrel also loves Mike (the Supervising Solicitor) and is always sucking up to him.
Darrel is a basically a tit!
Kenny Graham
 Kenny is 18 and just wants to get by. Ideally he would like to skive his way through the working day as much as possible. But in reality it is usually him who ends up doing all the work on his own.
He gets very bored by the mundanity of his job and is easily led into trouble by Asif. In fact Kenny always seems to accidentally find himself in trouble.
Kenny would like to be promoted to a paralegal position in the office 'cos its something to do'... just as long as it doesn't involve too much work!
Kenny has a crush on Lee Ann, a solicitor at Fox and Co, but she is not interested in him. She does however enjoy toying with him like a cat with a baby bird. He is way out of his depth with Lee Ann but just cannot see it.
Tania Macguire
 Tania is 17 and is one warning away from the dole. She has worked at Fox and Co for a year now and has a reputation for being lazy, dim and a bit of a slag. The truth is that she none of these. She is just very insecure and lacks confidence.
She is dyslexic but can't really be bothered to do anything about it. She gets into trouble for continually doing the filing wrong and so now none of the solicitors will trust Tania to do their filing for them. She is actually quite intelligent but has been labelled 'thick' throughout her life. When people find out that she has been knocked up by one of the paralegals they are not surprised!
Shelley Benson
 Shelley is trouble waiting to happen!
She's 16 and has no idea, about anything. She is dizzy, spaced out and determined to get her own way. This is her first job and she is determined to progress herself. Shelley may look sweet and innocent but really she is from a rough part of town and knows how to look after herself.
Mike Wakeham
 Mike is the supervising solicitor and is in charge of the office. He just wants to do his job and go home. Unfortunately the admin team invariably end up ruining his day.
Mike is very stressed, particularly with Darrel. He has had about as much as he can take and it doesn't take much for his frustration to boil over into anger.
Gloria Stevens
 Gloria is the Admin Team Leader. She thinks that she runs the office and is constantly badgering Mike for a promotion, pay rise, car park space etc. She is a sexual predator who flirts outrageously with all the men in the office. Except Darrel.
Gloria is desperate to get Mike into bed, although it is not clear whether this is to further her career or because she actually likes him.
Mohammed Khan
 Mohammed is Asif's dad.
In an attempt to impress his dad, Asif has told him that he's a hot-shot lawyer. He's starting to wish he hadn't now as Mohammed has started to bring in potential clients to see him, not realising he is actually just a lowly photocopier at the moment.
Mr. Ahmed
 Mr Ahmed is a friend of Asif's dad. He has knocked over an old lady in a wheelchair on a zebra crossing and thinks he has a great claim.
Mohammed brings him into the office to see Asif hoping to gain some of his son's well-qualified (!) legal advice.
Le-Ann Brown
Lee Ann is a hard-nosed solicitor. She is humourless and enjoys toying with Kenny. She is very ambitious and ruthless. Nothing will stop her from reaching the top. She loves jazz.
Danny Wilkinson
Danny is a paralegal. After a drunken night out he ended up in bed with Tania and now she is pregnant. He is embarrassed and doesn't want people to know that he's shagged the office junior and he's not sure if he wants to go out with her, or even if she's fit.
The news of the pregnancy is a bombshell to him. He has heard the rumours about her promiscuity and is now clinging to the hope that baby is not his!
