Peter Lamb has always aspired to fatherhood, but his endeavours with women have so far come to nothing. However, he now plans to become a foster father and his subsequent progress is filled with hurdles he never expected to encounter. His success takes everyone by surprise and he gathers a larger than expected group of children around him. Our Review: A wholesome family comedy based on the real-life story of Peter Lloyd Jeffcock who had fostered many, many children and brought them up by himself. All but the lead character was fictitious, however, and the script was poignant as well as funny. |
