A pub quiz at the hotel reveals The Oracle's competitive side. Kate discusses her marriage problems with Madge. Donald tries to salvage Troy and Gavin's relationship.

In-Depth Episode Synopsis

Warning: the below synopsis may contain spoilers

There's a pub quiz with a big cash prize in the evening which everyone at the resort is talking about. Young Michael keeps going on about going to the beach but Mick doesn't want to as it would involve shelling out money. Mick eventually says (knowing they haven't a hope in hell) that if they win the quiz they'll go.

Later on in the day Kate chats to Madge and reveals that it is Martin who is unable to have children. Martin appears and Madge immediately repeats the information in front of him leaving him shocked. Donald counsels Gavin about Troy and says what a smashing couple they are; and the Mateo thing was nothing...

At the quiz an overconfident Oracle practises his acceptance speech in the toilet but then finds himself surprisingly beaten by the Garveys. He demands a recount, and when Mateo is asked to get him off the stage he says that he may not know everything but he knows that Mateo has been shagging Troy and Kate! Martin steps up and decks Mateo and takes Kate away.
