Would I Lie to You? is a BBC One panel show hosted by Angus Deayton.

Team captains David Mitchell and Lee Mack, with the help of two guests each week, must hoodwink each other into believing that what is fake is true, and what is true is not.

Our Review: Despite the fact it is comedy produced on the cheap, we have really quite enjoyed all the Would I Lie To You? episodes.

Team captains Mack and Mitchell are always funny (particularly with their posh .v. working class double-act routine), and its nice to have the sardonic Angus Deayon back doing what he does best.

Perhaps the greatest thing about this show though is the interesting tidbits it throws up about our favourite comedians. For example, in the first series we found out Lee Mack was the stable boy for famous race horse Red Rum, Dom Joly was at school with Osama bin Laden and Frankie Boyle is allergic to coins. Meanwhile the second series featured some quite unbelievable truths - for example we learnt that Michael McIntyre really has worn bronzing powder since he was 12 and that he once drove a car that could only turn left for two whole weeks.

Let's hope the BBC give the show a third series - it deserves it!
